Warm day in the sun

The forecast said it would be slightly warmer today, and so it proved. The lake itself also felt quite a bit warmer, though in reality it was only about 2C warmer I think. We welcomed our very good friends Jyrki and Mari from Varkaus, who arrived in time for lunch. Before that, under cloudless skies, it was sunbathing and swimming time. And, Olivia and Sandy noticed that there are lizards living down near the sauna, which of course meant that they wanted to catch one! Didn't take too long!

It was a pleasure to see Jyrki and Mari again, and we spent the afternoon chatting and laughing together, as well as jumping into the lake some more! Both Jyrki and Mari were amazed at the distance Keith was swimming- we reckon he swam at least 3 or 4 km in the time they were here, and he swam more this evening, when he was in the water for another 90 minutes!

What a pleasure to see our friends from Varkaus again!

Tomorrow, we have Sari and her husband Petri coming up with their boys from Mäntsälä, so it'll be more of the same!
